A group of nicely bred Limousin cattle were sourced for a client and although they had not wintered well due to a lack of forage, the PJL fieldsman recognised their potential and purchased them on behalf of a regular client. Our fieldsman advised that although the cattle looked a little poor at the moment they were good cattle in-the-making.
After just 7 months on their new farm and a good diet of mainly grass, they were transformed into exceptional confirmation cattle needing approximately 6-8 weeks on hard feed to finish them. This has left the farmer with a good return on his purchase and the supplier of the cattle happy with the price that PJL had secured for him.
